RM 03816.017 Requesting the Transfer of Earnings

When sufficient information is associated with the case to determine that a transfer of earnings is required, take the following actions:

1. A. 

   Annotate the wages on the MEF, SSA-1826 printout , and other earnings records to be transferred.

2. B. 

   Prepare the appropriate scouting request form. Annotate the scouting request with instructions advising the scout to:

   1. 1. 

      Transfer the items indicated per RM 03816.021.

   2. 2. 

3. C. 

   Forward the scouting request form and related printout(s) to a scout for processing.
