NL 10608.105 What are the Standards for Notice Cover Letters?

Cover letters should be either automated or preprinted. They should adhere to the same standards as notices with the following exceptions:

    Do not include signatures on cover letters.

  • •

    Staple the cover letter on top of the notice so it is the first thing the person sees when opening the notice.

  • •

    Type, do not handwrite, the person’s name and address on a pre-printed cover letter.
