RM 10210.800 Documents issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) bears responsibility for facilitating legal immigration and naturalizing new U.S. citizens and providing a range of other immigration services. DHS issues various documents (e.g., forms and certificates) in connection with these responsibilities.

As time and resources allow, we will use sections beginning with RM 10210.8## to store information (e.g., current and historical information) about the DHS documents that SSA accepts, or accepted in the past, as evidence of an individual’s lawful alien status or U.S. citizenship as part of the SSN application process. This is a work in progress.
