HI 03010.001 Introduction to Application and Interviewing Policy

The Social Security Administration is responsible for the premium collection and cost-sharing subsidy portion of Medicare Part D. Section HI 03010.000 contains specific policies and procedures for taking and processing subsidy applications. As appropriate, the instructions cross refer to the Title II and Title XVI common application and interviewing policies and procedures in GN 00201.000 through GN 00204.000 and the specific Title XVI application and interviewing procedures in SI 00601.000.
