   RS 01702.558 Certification to the VA of Special Non-Insured Payment Cases - Procedure
   
   
   
   The PC will prepare an award or amended award, and will send the original copy to
      the VA.
   
   
   Any action resulting in a rate adjustment will require an amended award showing the
      new rates. Send to the VA:
   
   
   
      - 
         
      
- 
         
            • 
               copy of notice we would have sent to the claimant; and 
 
 
- 
         
            • 
               the appropriate report forms and instructions we would have sent to the claimant. 
 
 
From these, the VA will model its own letter, and will include the SSA enclosures.
