  Fax the translation request directly to American Translation Partners (ATP) using an SSA-533. Include your FO contact information on the SSA-533 form (i.e., name and telephone). Normally, the fee is $60.00 per document.

  If the fee exceeds $60.00, ATP will contact the requesting FO before completing the translation. Seek approval from the Center for Disability and Programs Support (CDPS) in the Regional Office when you have a fee quote over $60.00.

  ATP completes most translations within 2-3 working days. ATP will fax the translation back to the requesting FO along with an invoice for services. FOs should promptly respond to the invoice and pay the fee using the office’s government purchase credit card. Do not use a third party draft to pay the fee.

  If the fee exceeds $50.00, TLB will contact the requesting FO before completing the translation. Seek approval from CDPS when you have a fee quote over $50.00.
