RM 03809.045 Scouting Earnings in a Lag Period
Under annual reporting, the lag period is usually the current year and the preceding
one. The current year's earnings will not be reported until February of the following
year. These unreported earnings cannot be scouted. The preceding year's earnings,
however, will be processed during several postings in the current year. The scout
should check all available sources for the most current status of the individual's
earnings record. If:

Earnings are located, prepare any necessary adjustments and annotate “Remarks” in ICOR on the development worksheet to show actions taken .

B.
Earnings are not located, annotate “Remarks” in ICOR on the development worksheet to show “lag” for the year.
