Field Offices (FOs) require a system for testing the effectiveness of their referrals. The Regional Office may find it advisable to periodically review or direct FO managers to review with the voluntary or governmental agencies FO referral practices. Review agency referrals to FO through meetings between the FO staff and the local agencies for exchanging information and, where appropriate, make changes. Such exchanges may also be a practical means for assuring that the required information in GN 00903.330 is up-to-date.

NOTE: Periodically, the FO staff may discuss referrals made and any problems which have arisen from them.
