GN 01716.210 Preparing Claims Packages for Claims Filed in Canada

Policy

When claims are filed in Canada, do not prepare a package to request a record of Canadian coverage (unless Ottawa or Quebec failed to provide one) or to inform Ottawa or Quebec about a claim for Canadian benefits.

Prepare a claims package only to respond to requests from Ottawa or Quebec. Include the SSA-e2960-U3-CQ and any material requested.
