The benefit statement is not a determination made under the Social Security Act. Therefore, the benefit statement is not subject to appeal.

A request for an “amended” or “corrected” benefit statement or a question concerning the accuracy of the benefit statement does not constitute an administrative appeal.

Do not use the SSA-561-U2, Request for Reconsideration, to request correction of the statement.
