DI 40101.035 Processing Center (PC) Project Agreements with the Disability Determination Services (DDS) to Help Expedite Processing of Disability Claims/Workload Transfers

If the State has a Project Agreement with the Regional Office (RO) or Processing Centers’ Disability Processing Branch (PC-DPB), the jurisdiction of cases that would belong to the Disability Determination Services (DDS), are transferred from the DDS to the PC-DPB named in the agreement. These agreements will specify the:

  • •

    effective date,

  • •

    period of time, and

  • •

    case type being transmitted.

The RO notifies Field Offices (FO's) whenever a State has a Project Agreement that requires the FO to route disability cases directly to PC-DPB.

For cases transferred within the Project Agreement to PC-DPB, jurisdiction ends when a determination is made or the jurisdiction is transferred to the FO or DDS as a no determination/transfer (ND/TR) case.
