We are writing to tell you that we plan to change (1) Social Security benefit amount. Although (2) not receiving regular monthly benefits now, (3) will receive a reduced amount if (4) benefits start again.
Why We Are Changing The Benefit Amount
When we first figured (5) Social Security benefit amount we used (6) railroad earnings. However, we recently matched computer records with the Railroad
Retirement Board and learned that they lowered (7) railroad earnings. Because of this, we had to refigure (8) Social Security benefit using the lower railroad earnings. This reduces (9) Social Security benefit.
