1455. Situation Where Used:

PE: A child who has an ineligible parent(s) on the record attains age 18. When the child is receiving type “J” income in the month of attainment of age 18, do not use fill-ins 5 and 6 (i.e., child is already subject to VTR).

Do not use fill-in 4 if:

  • The notice addresses a retroactive month for which the recipient will receive a reduced SSI payment or be ineligible for SSI due to receipt of type “J” income; and/or

  • The recipient's SSI payment for the current computation month (CCM) will be reduced because the recipient receives type “J” income or the recipient will receive type “J” income in the CCM and be NO1 for the CCM.

2130. Situation Where Used:

A child who was between age 18 and 21 in September 1980 has payment protection under the deeming provisions of Public Law 96-265.
