The title VIII provisions specify that SVB may be reinstated from N13 status effective with the month in which the individual is lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence (LAPR).

SVB reinstatements after an N13 suspension are very unlikely because LAPR and foreign residence would need to be established simultaneously. If such a situation is encountered, refer the case to the Office of International Programs (OIP) by faxing the material to “OIP, Attn: SVB” at (410) 966-7025.
