RS 02815.010 Inquiries From the Office of Public Inquiries (OPI)

This office also receives calls from members of Congress and their staffs and should be given top priority attention. This office is authorized to call the Inquiries Staff to obtain information or assistance to comply with the inquirer's request. The service given to OPI is very important in creating the “image” of SSA's operation in the eyes of congressmen and their staffs who ask for assistance from us.
