The organization must maintain records for each beneficiary for whom it serves as payee. The records should include the payments received and the fees collected for each individual.

When the organization receives a Representative Payee Report, form SSA-6234, to complete for the beneficiary, the total amount of the fees collected should be included in the figure entered on line 2.B. of the accounting form.
