T-HIB Entitled (Deemed Insured)—This claim symbol is used where the individual cannot
be entitled to any type of RSI monthly benefit and cannot become a “qualified RR beneficiary” (for definition see HI 00801.022). It applies whether or not an SMI election is made. This claims symbol is also used for CRD claimants and claimants
entitled to "HIB only' whether insured on their own record or based upon the record
of an insured spouse or parent (see HI 00801.001 and GN 00204.005).
