A. Policy

An office receiving a request for a change to an individual's records must acknowledge receipt of the request within 10 working days.

B. Procedure

    Acknowledge by letter receipt of the request for a change to an individual's records within 10 working days.

    Advise the requester in the letter if a referral of his or her request is made.
