DI 43505.020 Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA)

SGA determinations for claimants living in the British Virgin Islands, Canada, the United States or Western Samoa will be prepared by the domestic DO of jurisdiction. All other initial SGA determinations will be prepared by the claims adjudicator, SGA specialist, located in the Claims Development Branch (See DI 43525.010-DI 43525.015 for processing instructions.)
