DI 43525.020 Questionable Technical Denials

There are certain initial claims that require a medical determination. (See DI 43505.025-DI 43505.035 for guidance.) When it is obvious that no medical review is necessary, e.g., insured status not met at alleged onset, death in the waiting period (traumatic onset), the component having DO jurisdiction will process the technical denial.
