DI 80640.010 Rollout of the Electronic Disability Process

The new electronic process will be implemented over an 18-month period beginning in January 2004. Only offices that have received the installation of special EF software and hardware will be able to process electronic claims. All offices that have not yet received the special hardware and software will continue to process the paper MDF and use eView to access information that was entered by the FO into the Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS) during the disability interview (i.e., Disability Reports: 3367, 3368, 3369, 3820 and 3441).
