DI 81005.030 Electronic Disability Collect System (EDCS) Claims Status Screen in eView

In eView, when the user selects Claims Status, the EDCS Claims Status screen appears. This enables a user to do a search for lists of cases using the following search variables:

  “Pending in” specific offices;

• •

  “Transferred from FO” for specific offices;

• •

  “Transferred To”.

The user’s security profile determines access to the database. For example, a Disability Determination Services (DDS) user may view a pending list for their own DDS or for a Field Office (FO), but cannot view a pending list for another DDS.

The Search Results screen provides Claim Status Lists, which the user may view or print. However, the EDCS Claims Status Screen cannot link to the details of a specific case.
