GN 01715.115 Definition of Canadian Territory

A. Introduction

As explained in GN 01715.140 and GN 01715.145, certain provisions of the agreement and understanding apply only to persons who reside in the territory of Canada.

B. Definition

Canadian territory includes:

  • the Canadian provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland (including Labrador), Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, and

  • the Canadian territories: the Northwest and Yukon territories
