GN 01728.305 Life to Death Conversions - Portuguese Agreement

A. Policy

When converting U.S. life benefits to death benefits, it is not necessary to:

  • •

    inform a Portuguese liaison agency about the death of a worker; or

  • •

    advise survivors to file for Portuguese survivor's benefits.
