GN 01747.105 Effective Date of the U.S. — Danish Agreement

A. Introduction

The agreement with Denmark is effective October 1, 2008.

B. Policy – Earliest Month of Entitlement

Periods of U.S. and Danish Social Security coverage a worker earned prior to October 1, 2008, may be used to establish entitlement to U.S. or Danish Totalization benefits. However, the earliest possible month of entitlement to such benefits is October 2008.
