GN 01751.105 Effective Date of the U.S. — Polish Agreement

A. Introduction

The agreement with Poland became effective March 1, 2009.

B. Earliest month of entitlement

Periods of U.S. and Polish Social Security coverage a worker earned prior to March 1, 2009 may be used to establish entitlement to U.S. or Polish Totalization benefits. However, the earliest possible month of entitlement to such benefits is March 2009.
