GN 04447.001 Overview - Introduction to GLPSC - DRS Procedures for Quality Assurance Review of Railroad Disability Claims

This subchapter provides the Disability Review Section (DRS) in the Great Lakes Program Service Center with instructions for selecting railroad disability determinations for quality assurance (QA) review. The QA review is performed in the Disability Quality Branch (DQB)of the Chicago Office of Regional Program and Integrity Reviews. Included in this subchapter are instructions for correcting and rebutting deficient railroad disability determinations.

This subchapter also describes the actions that are taken by the Chicago DQB when the DRS rebuts deficiency returns.
