We may deem, under certain circumstances, a WWII veteran who separated from active military service before July 27, 1951, and died within three years after such separation to have died fully insured.

This provision affords survivors insurance protection where the veteran, prevented during their WWII service from acquiring quarters of coverage, died before they had a chance to gain or regain an insured status.
