RS 00615.472 Reduced RIB After Reduced WIB, Intervening DIB (D/W then HA then A)

POLICY

Entitlement to a higher DIB does not cause the termination of WIB.

    If DIB continues to FRA, it will be converted to a RIB at the DIB rate.

  • •

    If the DIB terminates before FRA and the widow(er) becomes entitled to RIB, the RIB is reduced as explained in RS 00615.160 without consideration of the DIB entitlement.
