DI 11050.015 Jurisdiction of Disability (DIB) and Freeze Applications for Career Railroad (RR) Employee and Surviving Dependent RR Annuitant

Great Lakes Program Service Center-Disability Processing Branch (GLPSC-DPB) has jurisdiction over DIB claims filed by claimants who have 120 or more RR service months (or 60 or more months after December 31, 1995) or who have filed or are entitled to a survivor annuity with the Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) on a different account number.

Refer to Transferring Electronic Cases to Great Lakes Program Service Center-Disability Processing Branch (GLPSC-DPB), DI 11050.055.

GLPSC-DPB returns all cases to the field office (FO) for processing after making the decision.

GLPSC-DPB coordinates its determination with the disability determination prepared by the RRB on the same claimant.
