Administrators (Includes Deputies)
Include all DDS administrators and assistant administrators.
Include all professional and clerical personnel who perform primarily administrative duties (e.g., accountants, financial managers, systems coordinators, training coordinators, professional relations officer, medical liaison professionals, and case consultants who add technical support to examining unit supervisors but do not adjudicate cases. In addition to total, a breakout of professional and clerical employees is required.
All professionals designated as supervisors. Include examining unit supervisors, quality assurance supervisors, and other professional personnel so designated.
Include aH personnel designated as clerical unit supervisor.
Examiners (Includes Trainees)
Include all professionals who develop or adjudicate cases. Include trainee examiners, experienced examiners, case development specialists, reconsideration specialists, and other personnel who primarily develop or adjudicate cases. This includes case consultants who primarily adjudicate cases.
Clericals (All clericals other than administrative shown in item 2)
Include case related and quality assurance clericals (e.g., clerks, typists, stenographers, fiscal clerks, and ARC cardpunch) and other machine operators.
Quality Assurance Professionals
Include all professional personnel assigned to the QA unit who perform a quality review, special quality assurance studies, or other activities relating to the DDS quality assurance function. Do not include QA supervisors or clericals.
Include all personnel who assist examiners in determining disability by identifying, documenting, and evaluating vocational factors such as age, education, work experience, and contracting employers, rehabilitation centers public agencies, and other sources of vocational information.
Include all medical consultants working for the DDS regardless of whether they are actual DDS employeet hired on a contractual or a consultant basis. This includes the DDS medical director.
