DI 39563.402 Workload Management Goals

In order to organize and manage an existing or expected production workload, it is necessary to know the results desired. This is best accomplished through close contact and cooperation with the regional office, which has the responsibility to set mutually reasonable and challenging DDS goals. In general, DDS's are expected to manage workloads in such a way so as to:

  1. A.

Meet the threshold levels, make progress toward intermediate goals, and aim for the target levels specified in the regulations in regard to performance accuracy and processing time.

  2. B.

Strive to continually reduce pending workloads with an objective of 5.0 weeks' work pending.

  3. C.

Strive to continually reduce the number and percentage of aged cases (45 days and 70 days).
