In view of the complex issues involved there may be individual cases which cannot
be processed under the instructions provided. These cases should be referred to OD,
DPATP through regular channels for processing instructions and /or language to include
in the notice to the claimant. On the SSA-559, state that the case cannot be processed
under existing instructions and briefly explain the issues involved. Any questions
relating to SGA and/or comparability should be resolved before such referral.
Refer procedural questions on initial claims, any SGA policy issue, or continuing
disability cases or questions on notices to OD, DPATP, 3-A-11 Operations.
