DI 42521.030 Case Routing - ODIO and/or NEPSC

Procedure

1. Claim(s) screened-in

If the claim(s) is screened-in, forward the folder(s) to the FO for folder update or reconstruction, as appropriate.

2. Claim(s) screened-out

If all possible Dixon claims are screened-out:

  1. Hold the claim(s) for 95 days pending possible review by class counsel.

  2. If no review request is received within the 95-day period, return the folder(s) to the appropriate component for filing.

  3. If class counsel requests a review of the class membership decision, route the folder(s) to:

    SSA, Disability Programs Branch
    26 Federal Plaza
    Room 40-112
    New York, N.Y. 10278

3. Multiple claims

In multiple claim cases where at least one of the claims is screened-in, route the folder(s) as shown in 1. above. If all claims are screened-out, follow 2. above.

4. Subsequent non-class claim pending

If a subsequent non-class claim is pending and at least one Dixon claim is screened-in, forward the Dixon claim(s) to the FO for folder update. Annotate the route slip “Current Claim Pending - Consolidate with Pending Claim.”
