DI 80550.170 Deleting a Claim
The Delete a Pending Case function deletes a pending case. If you have authorization, based on the User Security Profile, you can access Delete a Pending Case. Only users with proper authorization can perform case deletions. You cannot access Delete a Pending Case for cases in closed or permanent transfer status, or after AVIDing. To delete an open case after an ALJ has AVIDed, you must clear the AVID.
