NOTE: As of January 2004 the PSCs, FOs, ODAR and OQA have the ability to create a bar code for documents. However, at this time you should not create bar codes. You should:
Forward any medical evidence to the appropriate DDS if the claim is pending in DDS, OQA, or if the claim has been adjudicated.
Forward any medical evidence to the appropriate ODAR office if the claim is pending there.
Forward any non-medical evidence for placement in the MDF, since the paper folder is still the official folder.
