A. Introduction

POMS SI 01150.110E.7.a. requires that Section 1634 States be notified, for Medicaid purposes, when an SSI recipient transfers ownership of a resource at less than the fair market value. POMS SI 01150.110E.7.b. requires that all Section 209 (b) States be notified, for Medicaid purposes, when an SSI recipient transfers ownership of a resource at less than the fair market value.

B. Procedure

1. Section 1634 States

Field offices should notify the local branch of the following state agencies:

Maine

Department of Human Services

Massachusetts

Department of Transitional Assistance and Commission for the Blind

Rhode Island

Department of Human Services

Vermont

Department of Social Welfare

2. Section 209 (B) States

The transfer of resource notification should be sent to the following addresses:
