All premium collections processed through the Premium Collection Operation (PREMCO)
— both hospital and supplementary medical from both disabled and aged — are always
deposited in the Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Collection Account for the
Aged (20 ×8004.5). These collections will subsequently be redistributed by the SOBER
program as it applies the collections to the Billing and Collection Master (BCM) Record.
This redistribution will be outputted to Central Office where any necessary transfer
documents will be prepared and processed.
