NL 00702.187 Remailing a Document

A. Procedure

When reconstructing a document to be remailed use PF20. The date of the original document should be shown as the date of the new document (see NL 00702.184). The remail date should be shown on the two lines following the return address.

This is done for documents initiated using PF20 by going into the prompt screen for the #CTNA model that is part of every document. On the prompt for “Name” count over to space 32 (including spaces for the name) from the beginning of the name entry using the SHIFT/6 key to hold the blank spaces and enter “REMAILED.” On the first line of the address again count over to space 32 from the beginning of the address entry (including spaces for the name). Use the SHIFT/6 key to hold the blank spaces and enter the date (spelled out) that the document will be remailed. Using the SHIFT/6 will prevent word separation at the end of a line.

B. Example

Name...............Joe E. Smith^^(SHIFT/6 spaces)^^ REMAILED Address Line 1...11 Main Street^^(SHIFT/6 spaces)^ ^March 3, 1993
(See NL 00702.230 for additional information concerning SHIFT/6.)
