NL 00703.502 Adjustment Notice — Beneficiary Reduced Earnings to Exempt Amount, Benefit Remains the Same, Had Received Full Benefit While Working

Document Identifier for Word Processor; E3502

A. EXHIBIT LETTER

We are writing to tell you that your Social Security check will stay the same even though you expect to earn $ (1) or less this year.

The Reason For Our Decision

We did not stop your checks while you were earning more money because it would not have changed the total amount we paid to your family. Because we did not stop your checks before, we do not need to change your check amount now that you are making a different amount of money.

The checks you receive are no longer paid to you for other family members. They belong to you.

Your Responsibilities

Please let us know right away if you plan to earn more than $ (2) . This will help us make sure that we pay the right amount.
