NL 10609.101 What are the Standards for Notice Appearance?

When you create a new notice or revise existing notice language, use the guidelines in the following sections to handle notice appearance.

All notices, including manually prepared notices, must meet the following print quality standards:

Notices:

  • Must be typed. Do not use handwritten entries on notices.

  • Must look professional, with finely delineated characters and words.

  • Must not contain blurred or smudged characters.

  • Must not contain overstrikes or erasures.
