We revised the routing procedures for Continuing Disability Review (CDR) cases in order to simplify how we expedite electronic and paper case folders. This will reduce the risk as well as the resources needed in handling paper case folders. We also provide documentation instructions for the electronic process. With this revision, Disability Determination Service (DDS) will only send CDR cases to either the National Records Center or the servicing field office (FO). The DDS will not send any CDRs to the program service centers (PSC) or payment centers (PC) unless specified. This chapter explains how to determine the destination of a CDR once a DDS makes a determination.
