A. Purpose
The purpose of this EM is to inform the field office (FO) and the processing center (PC) technicians of procedural changes when a PC has jurisdiction of a pending Work Continuing Disability Review (CDR), and the FO receives PC-initiated evidence.

B. Background
Work CDR evidence that the PC has requested is sometimes submitted to the FO. This EM provides updated instructions for storing the evidence in the appropriate electronic repository and notifying the jurisdictional PC. It also provides PC-specific instructions for handling the evidence.

C. FO Instructions
When the FO receives evidence for a Work CDR that is in PC jurisdiction, technicians will:
    · Store the document(s) in eView. If eView is not available, use the Evidence Portal (EP) to store the documents.
    · Add a remark to the corresponding tickle issue in eWork. Indicate the FO received the evidence and provide the location where the FO stored it. For example, “Received SSA-821 in FO 123. Stored in eView.”

Note: FO technicians may also request that the PC transfer the case to the FO for FO processing.

D. PC Instructions
It is critical that technicians review the eWork development worksheet for outstanding tickles and remarks prior to taking action on Work CDRs. Technicians must also review eView, EP, and Paperless for receipt of evidence prior to proceeding with the Work CDR decision.

Direct all program-related and technical questions to your Regional Office (RO) support staff using vHelp or Program Service Center (PSC) Operations Analysis (OA) staff. RO support staff or PSC OA staff may refer questions, concerns or problems to their Central Office contacts.
