    B. PPS enhancements and bug fixes
For PPS Release 1.8, ODEPPIN developers completed the following enhancements and bug fixes:

      1. PPS fixes and enhancements:
        · Prohibit sensitivity changes for Minor Change Requests
        · Corrected missing transmittal link missing from TOP of MSOM documents, Part 23
        · Improved PPS Mail and URL address storage in database
        · Corrected status flag Indicator in PPS
        · Improvements in HTML display of POMS sections in PolicyNet (Citations, Notes, table gridlines in row spans)
        · Improvements in Word output of POMS sections (Field Descriptions, Facsimiles)
        · User error messages not displaying correctly (displaying message name instead of message itself)
        · Added capability for the Author to “Send to Publisher" in Certification Edit stage during a full Transmittal request.
        · Added "Return to Author" Action while the request is in Minor Change Verification and QAT Requested status
        · Additional bug fixes

      2. PPS XML Editor fixes:
        · Fixed missing search icon in top toolbar that happened intermittently
        · Fixed validation issue with Graphic elements and change tracking; Ensure that graphics get updated in PPS
        · Improved XML Editor save failures
        · Improved log format for PPS XML Editor
      C. Current workaround for PPS XML Editor “Replace All” feature
The “Replace All” feature in the PPS Editor is not functioning properly. Please avoid using this feature to avoid Editor crash and follow workaround process below.

        Workaround Process
To mitigate this issue, users should not use “Replace All” feature in XML Editor at all whether change tracking is activated, or not in the document.

Users can manually perform a find by clicking the “Next” down arrow in the find replace dialog, followed by a single “Replace.” Please avoid using “Replace All” entirely until this issue is addressed in PPS Release 1.9 scheduled for late December 2022.

If you have any questions, please contact ^TNs EMs AMs.
