Purpose
The purpose of this emergency message (EM) is to inform field office (FO) and Program Service Center (PSC) technicians about ODO’s new process for routing EXR action requests.

Background
Previously, FO technicians routed EXR action requests to ODO’s Program Integrity Targeted Assistance Group (PITAG) unit. Effective October 1, 2023, ODO is decentralizing the PITAG units and technicians must send requests to ODO’s traditional processing Modules.

Procedure
For the EXR action request scenarios listed in DI 13050.025I, and DI 13050.025J, DI 13050.060C, and DI 13050.065B, FOs should access the Detailed Office/Organization Resource System (DOORS) using the search SSN function to send an email to the appropriate PSC module. The referenced POMS Sections will be updated to reflect the updated procedure.

Direct all program-related and technical questions to your Regional Office (RO) support staff using vHelp or Program Service Center (PSC) Operations Analysis (OA) staff. RO support staff or PSC OA staff may refer questions, concerns, or problems to their Central Office contacts.
