Report
-
A.
If the FO has submitted additional information to assist in locating the earnings
item, request necessary scouting. If the item is:
-
1.
Located, make the necessary adjustment.
-
2.
Not located, redevelop for evidence of earnings. Explain to the FO that the item could
not be located even with the additional information.
-
B.
If the FO has submitted information that resolves a duplicate report problem, request
the scout to prepare the necessary adjustment to correct the reporting problem if
the electronic exact duplicate program has not already generated an offset. The authority
for the adjustment would be the statement of the employer provided by the FO.
NOTE:
Where the statute of limitations has expired, cancel only reports that are exact duplicates.
Partial duplicate reports for barred periods must not be cancelled. Exact duplicate
reports may be
cancelled.
-
C.
If the FO development indicates an employer reporting problem, includes copies of
the employer's report or page(s) of the report or includes evidence for other employees
for the same employer, process per RM 03812.029A-E.
