There are two liaison agencies for Canada. The first is the Department of National
            Health and Welfare which administers the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and the Old Age
            Security (OAS) Pension. The second agency is the Direction de l'administration des
            Ententes de Securite Sociale (DAESS) in Quebec, whose primary function is to prepare
            claims packages for Quebec residents who want to claim U.S. benefits and send them
            to one of the four border offices which service Quebec. In addition to DAESS, the
            Regie des rentes du Quebec (RRQ) administers the Quebec Pension Plan (QPP).
