Luxembourg coverage is certified on a computer generated form. The coverage record is issued by the pension fund that has jurisdiction of the claim, but it contains a complete record of an individual's Luxembourg coverage.
There are several types of Luxembourg coverage in addition to coverage based on work. The following periods of coverage may be certified on the record:
Mandatory coverage based on work
Voluntary coverage based on contributions
Noncontributory coverage for periods of child rearing
Noncontributory coverage for periods of sickness
The following is a description of the items on the Luxembourg coverage record:
The top of the form contains the worker's name and Luxembourg social insurance number.
The column titled “ANNEE” shows the first year in which there is coverage and every year thereafter.
The column headed “JRS” shows days of coverage for the year shown.
The column headed “MOIS” shows months of coverage for the year shown.
