EDCS is a web-based application used to record the medical information for a disability
            claim. The information collected in EDCS mirrors the information collected on the
            paper disability reports (e.g., SSA-3368, Disability Report – Adult, the SSA-3820,
            Disability Report - Child) and Internet Disability Reports (IDRs).

                  1.  
                     Collect disability report information on the EDCS 3368 (adult) or the EDCS 3820 (child),
                        as appropriate, using EDCS to record the claimant’s disability information that was:

                                 Gathered during the claims interview with the claimant, or

                  2.  
                     Complete the EDCS 3367. The questions on the EDCS 3367 screens correspond to those
                        on the paper SSA-3367.

                     If EDCS exclusions or limitations are present for any claim associated with a case,
                        establish a paper Modular Disability Folder (MDF) as the official folder.
