SI DEN02302.015 District Office Verification Of-Title XIX Services And Expenditures
See SI 02302.015
The district office (DO) must verify at least one use of services reimbursed by title
XIX before making a final 1619(b) determination unless the only use is expected to
be in the next 12 months and no present or past use is alleged.
In addition, the DO must obtain the expenditure data for services paid for by a State's
title XIX program when an individual's gross earnings exceed the State threshold amount.
The appropriate State agencies to contact for the above information are listed below.
The information must be requested by mail and must include the claimant's permission
to release the appropriate information (e.g., SSA-8510).
